By far the biggest beer park this winter will be found at CentralWorld Square (Ratchadamri Rd., 02-185-2361. BTS Chit Lom) which will see four stages filled with a long list of artists performing almost every day. The entertainment line-up is as follows:

Heineken keeps things smaller at the space in front of The Esplanade (Ratchadapisek Rd. MRT Thailand Cultural Centre), with entertainment limited to Lipta on Dec 24 and Kor Nattapon Srichomkwan feat. Groove Rider on Dec 28.


New this year, the riverside community mall (2194 Charoenkrung Soi 76, Charoenkrung Rd., open daily 5pm-midnight. 02-108-4488. BTS Saphan Taksin) also joins in on the winter shenanigans with a beer park sponsored by Chang Export. The entertainment lineup includes Lipta on Nov 28, Lula on Dec 6, Rose Sirithip on Dec 12, Pop Calories Blah Blah on Dec 19, Jennifer Kim and Koh Mr. Saxman on Dec 25, New&Jew on Dec 26 and Tu Phobtorn on Dec 31.

Mega Bangna

Chang Export also takes over the beer park out the front of Mega Bangna (39 Moo 6, Bangna Trad Km.8, Bangna Trad Rd., 02-105-1000) with a lineup of artists including Micro on Nov 28, Sqweez Animal on Dec 12, Peter Corp Dyrendal on Dec 19, J-Jetrin on Dec 26 and Nuvo on Dec 31.


The beer park at the Crystal Design Center (1148/9 Praditmanootham Rd., 02-101-1209) will be situated in front of Est. 33 with a lineup of artists including 25 Hours and Blackhead on Dec 22, Lipta on Dec 23, and Mild, Crescendo and Tattoo Colour on Dec 31.

Coco walk Bangkok Bars and Pubs by the BTS at BTS Ratchathewi Phayathai Rd. (Opposite Asia Hotel). If you’re looking for somewhere with a baan baan atmosphere, then you could do worse than head to this ragtag assortment of chillout bars next to BTS Ratchathewi. Just pick a spot based on the music or the crowd, and relax with the jugs of cocktails or the beer towers. Flip-flops and shorts are fine as you kick back to the sounds of live bands covering Thai and international tunes.
